THE BE124 CENTURION CONTROLLER

A pure generator control panel in its basic form consists of a metal cabinet with instruments, switches, circuit breakers and LED indicators. The size of it is related to the power generator's power rating. An important typology of generator control panels consists of ancillary electric changeover equipment. In this case, we are discussing an AMF or ATS panel.

WHAT IS AMF PANEL AND WHAT IS ATS PANEL?

GSM GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL

The BE1 GSM panel includes in a plastic box 320x240x130mm, the Be148-1 SMS gateway module, the Be1 generator controller, the F1403 Modem, an interface relay board supplied with removable terminal blocks, internal cables, an antenna, and a printed version of the Be1 generator controller installation manual.

The Be1 controller features default settings according to the programming manual. You can adjust settings on-site according to your needs. The panel is designed to start and stop a generator via SMS and monitor the engine instruments, fuel, and generator.

GSM GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL INSTRUCTION MANUAL

This generator control panel is the optimal solution for small single-phase generators. You can install this generator control panel on your home generator. By using your mobile you will always be informed about the status of your standby system. By sending a simple SMS you can start and stop the generator. You can also transfer the load with your mobile. In this table the basic available SMS commands.

[be1 auto]

(*)

It is a request to enter the AUTO mode. The command is accepted when

the Be1 controller is in OFF mode. The Be1 will answer with the SMS [MODE AUTO;]

[be1 status]

It is a request to get the status of the engine. An example of an answer is:

[MODE AUTO; ENGINE OFF; NO ALARMS;]

[be1 alarm] It requests to get the list of active alarms. In case of no alarms, the Be1 returns the message [NO ALARMS:]
[be1 genv] It requests the voltage and frequency of the generator. An example of an answer is

[VOLTAGE(V)=230; FREQUENCY(Hz)=50.4;]

[be1 engine] It requests the engine instruments enabled on the Be1 controller. Example of SMS test is: [BATTERY(V)=12.4; SPEED(RPM)=1550; OIL(BAR)=4.8;FUEL(%)=76].
[be1 off] It commands the BE1 to enter the OFF mode. This command works if the Be1 controller is in AUTO mode. The Be1 will return the message [MODE OFF;]. The Be1 will not start the engine if the remote start input is activated. The Be1 remains inoperative until is set in MANUAL or AUTO mode.

HOW TO CONTROL THE GENERATOR

Disconnect all LOADS. Start the engine following the instruction manual. The control panel indicates the generator's electrical parameters. Verify if the voltage and frequency are within acceptable limits. A good generator control panel must inhibit the connection of the load if the parameters are out of range. Most importantly, the generator control panel will disconnect the LOAD in case something goes wrong.
